Designed for children in the age group of 1-5 years, the space promotes language development, bilingualism, love for reading and culture of self learning.
Children get to learn language and to read through interactions or play with everyday physical objects, words, visuals and, more importantly, other children of mixed age groups.
Child driven reading sessions as opposed to adult driven storytelling.
Contexualised language development and read through sight are other key principles governing the design.
Co-reading space for parents/grandparents and older siblings (5+) or friends to promote reading through emulation of adult behaviours.
The interactions in the space will also offer cues to parents around how to foster the language development process, build a love for reading, and engage their children at home using everyday things.
